Cannibal Jones

If you can't sink that low, sink even lower. Why hasn't Alex Jones been put in a mental institution? Or is he that good of an actor to fool a lot of people?

We're only a couple months into the pandemic lockdowns, but a guy like him is looking attention in these bad moments of time. To say he is resorting to cannibalism and eating other people, that goes beyond ridiculous. It's not like we're in that horrible of a situation. It could be a way to get attention and drive people to his websites and buy whatever bullshit he thinks will cure problems. Unless food supplies are that low (which it isn't), this is similar to a Treehouse of Horror episode of The Simpsons where Homer eats people even though he has only been surviving in a competition for just a night.

It's not the only thing that keeps Jones in the spotlight. The last few years have seen Sandy Hook families going after the conspiracy theorist for believing the 2012 shooting at the school was fake. I believe he has been told to pay the families. And recently, he may have just lost a lawyer. I don't blame the lawyer, who has done very well for who knows how many years. It could be a losing effort from a nut. Why not withdraw? There will be a bitter end to all this stuff in Connecticut.

This is not what I call good publicity.

Keeping Up With The Jones' Ban

As sites continue to shut down more of Alex Jones with bans, there is a few stragglers that are late to it. PayPal was the latest to get rid of the conspiracy theorist by not supporting his online store. Combined with Apple and Twitter's banning of him and the lawsuits stemming from families of the Sandy Hook tragedy, it's going to be a huge lose lose situation for Jones.

Now, I don't buy into the political shit. That's not even the reason for Jones getting shut down by all these websites. Yes, he has a colossal following, but what he says is what is making him get in all sorts of trouble. The stuff he pulls and the antics he does is enough for them to put their down and declare the bans. My only question would be how much power do the sites really have in terms of dealing with users since there are tons of high profile people that use Twitter and a few other sites. If sites can go after Jones (which they should), they should go after the likes of Jim Carrey and J.K. Rowling.

Jones will still be around. How long is a question in of itself.

A Conspiracy Ban

This didn't surprise me at all. Twitter and Apple have decided they have had enough of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and his InfoWars show. Now, he is banned from those two sites. More than likely, it was because of his behavior and attitude at times when it comes to subjects.

I think this was a move that was coming sooner or later. Certainly, Jones has the right to say whatever he wants, but some of the stuff he says do not help his case. That Sandy Hook lawsuit is still going unless something changed. His fights against companies and Senators lately have probably been a huge factor in his banning. Whether this is an act, I don't know.

We live in a completely different era now from what it was in 2001 when Jones said conspiracies about September 11th. The Internet was a unique animal during that time period and still somewhat new. Now these days, companies can keep eye on what people like him do and take action when necessary.  The writing was on the wall. It was only a matter of when to ban.

Jones will find some way to stay relevant, though. He's not going to leave, no matter how much a lot of people want him to.

The War on Banning Info

For the last week or two, websites have put on a ban on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. He does a show called InfoWars and Facebook, YouTube, and a few other websites have banned him from putting his content on them. Recently Twitter suspended him for a week even though they were not immediate in doing what other sites were doing. I think this websites trying to stop him from spreading misinformation.

I think the reason, and it probably has been said in articles, is because of Sandy Hook. For those who don't know, that was the December 2012 shooting that took the lives of 20 people, including a number of kindergarten kids. Jones believed that was all staged and recently, has been sued by a number of families for the misinformation. So now, with battling custody of kids, he has to battle people he mocked and made lies of.

While this might piss off Trump, which it has, these websites are scared of Jones. What do I mean by that? This guy is more dangerous than Trump or any other person that runs a country. Like anything, he has share of fans, including the extreme nut job ones that believe every little thing that comes out of his mouth. Combined with the Sandy Hook lawsuits, the websites I believe are tired of the shtick and probably any complaints they've been getting and looked into the material. I don't think this is a political matter, but more so the deranged mentality of Jones.

By the time this blog is done, Jones will be a few days away from getting his Twitter back. He'll get back to doing his thing and whatever else he has intended to do. I hope websites will keep giving him the ban. It's about time they stand up to somebody.
