The Teigen Trap

Watching this unfold is pure karma and entertainment. About two months ago, model Chrissy Teigen was called out for cyberbullying by Courtney Stodden. Stodden received death threats from her in 2011 when she was married at the age of 16 to then 51 year old Doug Hutchison. Other people spoke out of Teigen's bullying, including the mother of actress Lindsay Lohan. For the most part, Teigen is now viewed as a cyberbully. Some retail places not having her cookware anymore. Issuing half assed responses. And she still doesn't understand why she's in the position she is in now.

Go to PageSix.com since they are putting up a valiant effort in detailing the latest news of Teigen. Supposedly she's depressed and feels like things are very rough. One part I'd probably feel bad for is her miscarriage I believe from last year. No one wants to terminate a pregnancy because of that. But that doesn't excuse poor behavior. She's probably pissed deep down that she can't get on social media and continue her bullying crusades. Eventually, she was going to get caught and she did red-handed. I don't think she realized how big this issue was going to be and still be one two months later.

Complaining about being in the "cancel club", yeah, because you made death threats to a teenager. You harassed a ten year old who has had big success on television for the last seven years. Those are just a few people, though. There's probably more that Teigen has went after viciously. This "cancel club" is a taste of her own medicine. If she was 20 years old, I'd let it slide a tiny bit, but would have a firm warning on not continuing this behavior. But at the age of 35/36, that's over the top and childish. The fame got to her head and she didn't learn to control anything.

The fact that PageSix had another article with Stodden speaks volumes. From the article, she has yet to get a direct apology from Teigen and thinks she should donate to anti-bullying charities. Her behavior could have a long lasting effect on her kids at the age of five and three respectively. Someone in public relations is going to have it very rough. If she can change, she has to commit to it, but I don't think she has the heart to do so. Until then, she deserved to be exiled from social. If she still doesn't understand the consequences of her actions, she will never learn a thing.

Celebrity Cyberbully

This is courtesy of Twitter, but they have been deleted. It doesn't make the story less relevant in the last 48 hours, though. There are very bratty celebrities. Whether it's that piece of shit Mark Hamill or LeBron James, you know their M.O. when it comes to speaking out of their minds. More so their ass. I present a really bad person in model Chrissy Teigen. I would view her as an attention whore who wants the spotlight on her all the time. Very vicious and always complaining. With stories popping up now of tweets from even a decade ago, she is a steaming pile of garbage.

It stems from stuff Teigen said about Courtney Stodden. Ten years ago, Stodden married Doug Hutchison. She was only 16 years old and he was 50. Age of consent is that age in many states of the United States. Regardless, I don't blame some of these news type people for going after her. The potential grooming and all that, thought that doesn't excuse the behavior of people like Joy Behar and even Anderson Cooper. From sites like Daily Beast, it's been brought up of Teigen saying that Stodden should kill herself and several variations of it. It's very despicable to go after a teenager and say that. That's how suicides happen. Look at the incident from 2014 where Michelle Carter told her boyfriend to kill himself. This was long before Teigen got really big as a name, but it doesn't stop.

There has been several other targets long before her tirades regarding people like former President Trump. One was Lindsay Lohan in 2011. Insinuating that Lohan was bothered about the success of Emma Stone and thinking she would slit herself even more. Calling Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham vile names a couple years later around 2013/14.  Harassing then ten year old Quvenzhane Wallis because she wanted people to get her name correctly. Those are just a few people, though. She's probably said a number of things to others that are extremely disturbing.

It's one thing to do this long before you get big. But most of it was around or just after Teigen married John Legend. She, like many celebrities, lack the intellect to understand the consequences of their tweets. Has the brain of a teenager. The fact that she has still acted like this in her 30s. Eventually, they get caught. Right now, she's trying to save herself from embarrassment by trying to apologize. Most are not biting and saying she needs mental help. I think companies should cut their ties with Teigen and tell her to re-evaluate her life. She and Legend have a daughter. Maybe this should serve as a lesson if she can even understand that. A day will come when Luna will get treated like crap because of her mother's attitude. Maybe it's time big tech starts intervening and puts some of these celebs and news reporters in their place. It's going to explode one day and the finger will be pointed at social media.
